On 22 May 2025, ADK Vietnam Lawyers, together with Lawyers, Jurists, and the community of legal practitioners, participated in VIAC and Lawyers Seminar: Consulting on amendments to the VIAC Arbitration Rules on the establishment of the Arbitral Tribunal and Guidelines for Case Management on the VIAC.eCase platform held at the VCCI Building, Ho Chi Minh City.
It is a great honor for ADK to support VIAC in reviewing and amending the VIAC Arbitration Rules for the group of regulations on the establishment of the Arbitral Tribunal and related documents.
Some contents regarding amendments to the VIAC Arbitration Rules 2017 and Some Draft Amendments to related documents:
Draft amendments on the establishment of the Arbitral Tribunal under the VIAC Arbitration Rules 2017;
Draft amendments to the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for Arbitrators at VIAC;
Draft amendment to the Arbitrator’s Statement;
Draft Schedule of Fees for request to change Arbitrator.
In addition, VIAC also introduced the Electronic Filing and Online Case Management Platform (VIAC eCase) and the Guide to Online Case Management using VIAC eCase – a new platform and a step forward in the litigation process in Vietnam.
A heartfelt thank you to VIAC for inviting ADK to attend and contribute opinions in the program. Hopefully, these new drafts will be an important foundation to ensure the effectiveness of arbitration procedures and have high feasibility in practical operation.
