ADK VIETNAM LAWYERS is proud to have advised an integrated agro-based business group from Malaysia on its successful participation in the auction of secured assets attached to a land area of 408,627.5 m² in Phu Tho Province, Vietnam.

Since late 2024, ADK VIETNAM LAWYERS has acted as legal counsel to the client throughout various key stages of the transaction, including reviewing and conducting legal due diligence on the assets, providing legal opinion, assessing legal issues relating to land use rights and assets attached to land, advising on the auction dossier and participation conditions, assisting with the preparation of relevant documents, and liaising with relevant organizations, authorities and stakeholders during the auction process.

This is a notable transaction in the market, involving the auction of assets attached to land leased by the State with annual land rental payments. According to the assessment of the Phu Tho Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, this transaction is one of the largest secured asset auctions in Vietnam involving assets attached to land leased by the State under an annual land rental payment scheme, particularly in the context following the effectiveness of Resolution No. 254/2025/QH15 of National Assembly of Vietnam on certain mechanisms and policies to address difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of the Land Law 2024, which took effect on 01 January 2026.
